Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has made a startling revelation about the ongoing security crisis in Benue State, describing it as deliberately orchestrated by individuals within both the state and federal government structures.

Speaking on Sunday, the spiritual leader claimed that the insecurity plaguing Benue is being used as a strategic tool to undermine President Tinubu's administration by opposition elements operating from within the government itself.

Shocking Revelations About Benue Crisis

In a statement released through his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele emphasized the man-made nature of the crisis, suggesting that the identities of those responsible would shock many Nigerians due to their proximity to power.

"People causing insecurity in Benue are in the government system, even in the state and federal. Nobody wants to hear their names because it will be very shocking. The problem in Benue is man-made and is initiated by people," Ayodele stated.

The prophet issued a direct warning to President Tinubu, urging him to address the security challenges with greater urgency. "President Tinubu needs to wake up to these insecurity problems; they want to use it to destabilize his government, and if he doesn't arise to tackle the political reasons behind insecurity, he will pay greatly for it," he cautioned.

Call for Decisive Action

Ayodele further advised the President not to be distracted by sycophants, emphasizing that the security situation requires immediate and serious attention. "I am not anyone's friend, but Tinubu should wake up. Don't let them be singing Hosanna for you. Insecurity is a serious matter," he added.

The Benue crisis has recently intensified, with reports of attacks in Yelewata and other parts of the state. The state government recently announced the arrest of over 50 fake internally displaced persons (IDPs) at a Makurdi camp, highlighting the complex nature of the security challenges facing the region.

This revelation comes amid growing concerns about the broader security situation in Nigeria, with similar challenges reported in Plateau State and other parts of the country.
