The Zuru Patriotic Forum (ZPF) has issued a strong condemnation of a recent banditry attack on Tadurga village in Kebbi State that resulted in multiple casualties and extensive property damage.

In a statement signed by ZPF Chairman Dr. Ishaq Danbauchi Senchi, the group described the incident as "a tragic reminder of the growing insecurity in rural communities" and called for urgent government action to prevent further bloodshed.

"This senseless violence highlights the dire state of security in our communities. We urge the authorities to take immediate and decisive action to bring the attackers to justice and prevent further atrocities," the statement read.

Calls for Enhanced Security Measures

The forum appealed to government authorities to deploy additional security personnel to vulnerable areas and strengthen surveillance mechanisms to protect lives and property in the region.

Beyond security reinforcements, the ZPF urged the government to provide immediate relief materials to internally displaced persons (IDPs), particularly women and children who have been left without shelter or support following the attack.

"We stand in solidarity with the people of Tadurga and all affected communities. We will continue to advocate for peace and stability across Zuru Emirate and Kebbi State," the forum added in its statement.

The attack on Tadurga village comes amid growing concerns about the security situation in parts of Kebbi State, where rural communities have increasingly become targets for armed bandits.

Local authorities have yet to release official casualty figures or details about the perpetrators of the attack as investigations continue.
