The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced an intensification of its ground offensive in the Gaza Strip, with multiple divisions conducting simultaneous operations across the territory's north, center, and south regions, despite ongoing military actions in Iran.

In northern Gaza, the IDF's 162nd Division is advancing deeper into Jabalia, a location long considered a Hamas stronghold. Military reports indicate that Israeli troops identified three Hamas operatives approaching their position overnight and promptly coordinated an airstrike to neutralize the threat. A separate aerial bombardment targeted a building allegedly used by Hamas in the same area.

Operations in central Gaza have also intensified, with the 252nd Division reporting the elimination of two individuals deemed threats to Israeli forces. Additionally, troops coordinated a precision strike on a section of Hamas's underground tunnel network, which the IDF describes as a critical component of the group's military infrastructure.

Southern Gaza Operations Reveal Hidden Threats

In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, the 36th Division is executing operations aimed at capturing and clearing Hamas installations. The military highlighted a specific incident where troops discovered a building initially believed to contain humanitarian aid. Further inspection revealed signs of a booby trap, prompting soldiers to detonate two explosive devices, which subsequently triggered a hidden bomb, causing the entire structure to collapse.

This escalation in Gaza comes at a time when Israel is also engaged in military operations in Iran, demonstrating the IDF's capacity to maintain multiple fronts simultaneously. Military analysts suggest this dual-front approach indicates Israel's determination to address security threats regardless of geographical constraints.

The ongoing conflict continues to raise international concerns about civilian casualties and humanitarian conditions in Gaza, while regional tensions remain high as military actions expand beyond traditional boundaries.
