Five people have been killed and 92 others injured after Iran launched a wave of missile strikes targeting multiple locations across central Israel on Monday, according to Israel's Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency service.
The casualties resulted from hits on four locations across central Israel, including Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv. Among the deceased were "two women and two men around the age of 70, as well as one additional fatality," the MDA confirmed in a statement.
"So far, MDA teams have evacuated 92 injured persons to hospitals, including a 30-year-old woman in serious condition with facial injuries, six in moderate condition, and 85 in mild condition," the emergency agency added.

The missile barrage was launched early Monday as Iran's response to Israel's recent strikes on military and nuclear facilities deep inside Iranian territory. Search and rescue operations were still underway at two of the affected sites as of the time of reporting.
