Chioma Adeleke, wife of Nigerian music superstar Davido, has publicly expressed her desire to have more children with the singer during their Father's Day celebration on Sunday.
During a special dinner outing organized to celebrate Davido on Father's Day, Chioma made her intentions clear in a video clip that has since gone viral across social media platforms.
"Happy Father's Day. We love you, daddy. I want two more kids. I love you. Happy Father's Day," she told Davido in the heartwarming moment captured on camera.
Conflicting Family Planning Views
Chioma's request comes just weeks after Davido revealed in an April interview that the couple had decided to take a break from having more children. The father of five had explained that he wanted Chioma to focus on her career after having three children.
"She deserves a break to pursue her career," Davido had stated, indicating that he was not ready to expand their family further at this time.
The couple welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, in 2023, approximately one year after the tragic loss of their first son, Ifeanyi, in a swimming pool accident that devastated the family and their fans worldwide.
Chioma, who is professionally a chef, appears to have different plans for their family's future than what Davido recently expressed publicly.
The couple's relationship has been closely followed by fans, especially after they formalized their union following years of dating and the birth of their children.
Neither Davido nor his representatives have responded to Chioma's public request for more children as of the time of this report.
