Popular comedian-turned-musician, Nasboi, has publicly accused a Nigerian police officer of asking him to transfer money to a betting account after stopping him during his ongoing nationwide tour.

The entertainer, who is currently on his unique 36-day kneeling tour across all Nigerian states in an attempt to secure a verse from singer Davido, shared the alleged encounter on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

According to Nasboi, the unnamed police officer stopped him and requested money. When informed that he had no cash on hand, the officer allegedly asked him to transfer the funds directly to his SportyBet account instead.

"The hell is wrong with Nigeria police? What? I no get cash to give you, you say make I transfer to your sporty," Nasboi wrote in his post, expressing disbelief at the officer's request.
