A student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has tragically lost his life after jumping from a three-storey building following the alleged consumption of hard drugs. The incident occurred around 8:00 pm on Thursday at a lodge near Royal Kitchen junction, close to the university gate in Awka, Anambra State.
According to eyewitnesses, the student, whose identity has not yet been disclosed pending family notification, was rushed to a nearby hospital after the fall but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Residents of the area reported hearing a loud sound before discovering the victim lying in a pool of blood. Further investigation revealed that the deceased had allegedly consumed a hard drug locally known as "Mkpurummiri" before the incident.
