Former President Goodluck Jonathan has called for unity and shared prosperity among Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora as Muslims celebrate this year's Eid-el-Kabir festival.
In a statement shared on his Facebook handle on Friday, the former Nigerian leader extended warm greetings to Muslims across Nigeria and worldwide, emphasizing the significance of the occasion as a time for deep reflection, sacrifice, and communal harmony.

Jonathan described the Sallah celebration as "a profound reminder of the enduring values of faith, devotion, sacrifice, and generosity" that resonate across humanity regardless of religious affiliations.
"On this blessed occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt felicitations to our Muslim brothers and sisters across Nigeria and around the world," Jonathan stated.
