The North-Central All Progressives Congress (APC) Forum has extended warm Eid-el-Kabir felicitations to President Bola Tinubu, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, and the entire Muslim community across Nigeria.

In a statement released in Jos on Friday, the Forum's Chairman, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, also conveyed greetings to APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, while calling on Nigerians to support the current administration's efforts toward national development.

Support for Tinubu Administration

"I heartily congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang and the National Chairman of our party, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, on this auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Kabir," Zazzaga stated.

"May Almighty Allah continue to guide them in their efforts at building a stronger, more united and prosperous Plateau and Nigeria of our collective dreams."

The Forum chairman urged citizens to use the Eid celebration as an opportunity to demonstrate kindness toward the less privileged and to pray for peace, unity, and stability across the nation. He emphasized the importance of mutual respect among Nigerians regardless of faith differences.

"Once again, I wish all Muslim faithful a joyful and peaceful Sallah celebration. Eid Mubarak," he added.

North-Central Development Commission Achievement

Zazzaga, who also founded the APC Green Cap Movement in Plateau State, commended President Tinubu for establishing the North Central Development Commission following advocacy efforts by the Forum after the region was initially excluded.

"President Bola Tinubu has demonstrated that he is a leader who has a listening ear. He has been good to the North-Central and that is why, as APC stakeholders, we decided to endorse him for a second term – the first group to do so," Zazzaga remarked.

He expressed satisfaction that since the Forum's endorsement of Tinubu for a second term, numerous other organizations have followed suit, including the formal endorsement by APC leadership during the party's recent National Summit at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Pledge of 6 Million Votes for 2027

The Forum has made a significant electoral pledge for the upcoming presidential election cycle. "We are restating our pledge to deliver six million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the North-Central geopolitical zone in 2027," Zazzaga affirmed.

In a notable political outreach, the Forum renewed its call for Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang to join the APC before the 2027 elections, suggesting that such a move would advance both the governor's political interests and enable more effective collaboration with the federal government.

"Governor Caleb Mutfwang joining the APC is in the interest of Plateau State and the North-Central. It will also strengthen the APC to continue delivering good governance to Nigerians," Zazzaga stated, expressing optimism that the governor would eventually consider the invitation.

The Forum chairman concluded by reaffirming the group's commitment to championing the progress and development of the North-Central region and Nigeria as a whole, noting that their advocacy efforts have already yielded positive results.

"We will not rest on our oars, we will continue to push for progress and development," he emphasized.
