ABS FC head coach Anthony Encho has expressed satisfaction with his team's performance following their 3-1 victory over Madiba FC in a Nigeria National League (NNL) matchday 20 encounter.

The match, played on Saturday at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl, George Innih Stadium in Ilorin, saw the Saraki Boys secure a convincing win despite missing several scoring opportunities.

"The game was good; I'm happy with the result," Encho stated in his post-match interview. "Even though we lost a lot of begging chances, we are improving in terms of goalscoring."

The coach highlighted the significance of the result, noting, "This is the first time we are scoring three goals in the second stanza, so it's a huge win for us."

With this victory, ABS FC currently occupies seventh position on the NNL Group B table with 23 points from 18 matches. The Ilorin-based club will be looking to build on this momentum when they face Abakaliki FC in their next league fixture in Ebonyi.

The win comes as a boost for the Abubakar Bukola Saraki-owned club as they continue their campaign in Nigeria's second-tier football league, showing signs of improved attacking prowess in the second half of the season.
