In response to this incident, the FRSC has announced plans to increase patrol and surveillance activities, as well as public awareness campaigns, to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
This accident once again highlights the critical importance of adhering to basic road safety rules on major Nigerian highways, particularly the busy Kano-Kaduna route which has witnessed numerous fatal accidents in recent years.
Road safety experts continue to advocate for stricter enforcement of traffic regulations, improved road infrastructure, and greater public awareness to reduce the alarming rate of road accidents across the country.
