Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly signed a new contract with Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr, according to journalist Santi Aouna. The 40-year-old Portuguese superstar's current deal was set to expire in summer 2025, but he has now committed his future to the Saudi club.

Aouna revealed on his X (formerly Twitter) account that a "full agreement" is in place between Ronaldo and Al-Nassr, with Saudi sources confirming to the journalist that the forward "HAS already signed his new contract."

This development ends speculation that Ronaldo might leave Al-Nassr to join a club participating in the FIFA Club World Cup. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner appears focused on maintaining his club stability as he potentially eyes participation in the 2026 World Cup with Portugal, where he remains the first-choice striker despite his age.

Since joining Al-Nassr in January 2023 following his fallout with then-Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, Ronaldo has been in remarkable form. The Portuguese captain has scored 93 goals and provided 19 assists in 105 appearances for the Saudi club.

Ronaldo recently secured his second consecutive Golden Boot in the Saudi Pro League, further cementing his status as one of the most prolific goalscorers in world football, even as he approaches his fifth decade.

The terms and duration of the new contract have not been disclosed, but the agreement suggests Ronaldo intends to continue his professional career in Saudi Arabia for the foreseeable future.
