Real Madrid's star forward Kylian Mbappe has capped off a remarkable debut season in Spain by winning the prestigious Pichichi Trophy as LaLiga's top scorer for the 2024/2025 season.

The French international netted an impressive 31 goals in the Spanish top flight, finishing four goals clear of his nearest rival, Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski, who ended the campaign with 27 goals despite scoring a brace in Barcelona's 3-0 victory over Athletic Club on the final day.

Mbappe's achievement makes him the 16th Real Madrid player to claim the iconic Pichichi Trophy, named after the legendary Athletic Bilbao striker Rafael Moreno Aranzadi. The 25-year-old striker has also secured the European Golden Boot, awarded to the top scorer across all European leagues.

In his first season with Los Blancos, Mbappe has been in sensational form, scoring a total of 43 goals across all competitions, firmly establishing himself as one of the club's key players following his high-profile move from Paris Saint-Germain.
