The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the rescheduled 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), according to an official statement issued on Sunday.

The resit examination was specifically organized for candidates whose initial examination sessions were affected by technical glitches and those who were absent during their originally scheduled dates.

According to JAMB's statement, a total of 336,845 candidates were rescheduled for the examination after excluding sessions that were not affected by technical issues. The board also revealed that 21,082 candidates failed to show up for the rescheduled examination despite being given another opportunity.

"Of the 336,845 who were eventually scheduled after isolated good sessions of the affected centres were excluded and their previously unverified candidates were added, 21,082 were absent," the statement read.

The release of these results comes amid recent controversies surrounding the 2025 UTME, including reports of website hacking attempts that affected some candidates' results. Earlier, JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, had reportedly considered resigning over the technical issues that plagued this year's examination.

Authorities have also arrested approximately 20 suspects in connection with the alleged hacking of the JAMB website, with Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma calling for a speedy investigation into the matter.

The board has not provided specific details on how candidates can check their results, but typically, JAMB results can be accessed through the board's official website or by sending an SMS to the designated number.

Candidates who participated in the rescheduled examination are advised to check the official JAMB portal for their results and further instructions regarding the next steps in the admission process.
