Barcelona president Joan Laporta has revealed that young sensation Lamine Yamal has already accepted the club's contract proposal, with only his signature pending once he turns 18.

Speaking in a recent interview with TV3, Laporta provided comprehensive updates on several key contract situations at the Catalan club following their LaLiga title triumph.

"Lamine Yamal has already accepted our contract proposal. We just need him to sign as soon as he turns 18," Laporta stated, as reported by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.

The Barcelona president also confirmed positive developments regarding other important squad members, adding: "Raphinha and Iñigo's renewals are also advanced. We want to complete all renewals and then new signings will come."

Laporta addressed the situation of goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who recently joined the club, saying: "We have signed Szczesny for his experience and we offered him a new contract. We hope he continues."

These contract developments come as Barcelona looks to strengthen their squad ahead of next season under new management. The club aims to build on their recent LaLiga success by securing their key talents while also making strategic additions during the summer transfer window.

Yamal, who has emerged as one of football's brightest young talents, appears set to commit his long-term future to Barcelona once he reaches the required age for signing his professional contract.
