Spanish-Nigerian forward Victor Musa continued his impressive goal-scoring form as Manchester United's Under-18 team concluded their 2024-2025 season with a convincing 3-1 victory over Sunderland at Carrington over the weekend.

The match saw a flying start for Sunderland when Felix Scott put the visitors ahead after just two minutes. However, Manchester United responded strongly, with Amir Ibragimov equalizing through a well-placed header ten minutes before half-time.

The Red Devils then took control of the game as Albert Mills headed them into the lead shortly after Ibragimov's equalizer. The victory was sealed in second-half stoppage time when Musa calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner to make it 3-1.

This goal marked a fitting end to an exceptional season for the talented youngster, who has amassed an impressive tally of 19 goals across all competitions for Manchester United's youth team. His remarkable scoring ability was highlighted in April when he netted six goals in a single match during United's emphatic 13-1 victory against Leeds United.

Despite his prolific form, Musa is not expected to feature again until next season unless he receives a surprise call-up to the first team for one of the remaining three matches of the current campaign.

The result helped Manchester United's Under-18s finish their season in second place with 63 points, just two points behind local rivals Manchester City, who claimed the U18 Premier League North championship.

Musa's consistent performances throughout the season have raised expectations for his future development, with many fans hoping to see the Spanish-Nigerian talent progress to the senior squad in the coming years.
