The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced Wednesday, June 11, 2025, as the commencement date for the 2025 Batch 'A' Stream II Orientation Camp.
This announcement comes as the current 2025 Batch 'A' Stream I Orientation Camp concludes on Thursday, May 15, 2025, according to a statement signed by Caroline Embu, Assistant Director of Information and Public Relations.
The NYSC has informed all stakeholders, particularly prospective corps members, that the orientation course will take place simultaneously across all 37 NYSC orientation camps throughout Nigeria.
Prospective corps members have been advised to regularly monitor the NYSC's official social media platforms for important updates regarding the exercise. This proactive communication aims to ensure all participants remain well-informed about any developments related to their service year commencement.
The National Youth Service Corps, established in 1973, continues to facilitate national integration by posting Nigerian graduates to states outside their regions of origin for a mandatory one-year service to the nation.
Prospective corps members are encouraged to prepare adequately for the three-week orientation camp, which serves as the first phase of the national service year.
