The 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) Culture Day has set a new standard for celebrating African heritage, with premium lager beer Goldberg taking center stage as the cultural champion through its Gold Standard campaign.
The star-studded event brought together the biggest names in African entertainment, including celebrities from Nigeria, Kenya, and Uganda, creating a truly pan-African atmosphere that showcased the continent's rich cultural diversity.

The evening featured a dazzling parade of Nollywood actors, musicians, fashion designers, and digital influencers, all adorned in stunning traditional attire that represented various African cultures. From Yoruba gele styles to Benin beaded crowns, Northern Nigerian embroidery, South African beads, and Maasai-inspired looks from Kenya, the event transformed into a living museum of African fashion.
Renowned photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi, engaged by Goldberg, created a majestic photo stand that became the event's visual centerpiece, immortalizing celebrities in regal portraits that celebrated African beauty and style.
Electrifying Performances
The night came alive with high-energy performances, notably from Segun Johnson, whose fiery, interactive set had guests dancing throughout the evening. The musical interludes blended traditional sounds with contemporary beats, highlighting the power of African music to unite and uplift.
Goldberg's immersive brand experience kept the celebration flowing with chilled beer all night long, while traditional drummers and a violinist reinforced the brand's commitment to celebrating heritage and tradition.
Fashion Royalty Crowned
The Best Dressed Awards, sponsored by Goldberg, saw Prince Nelson Enwerem and actress Liquorose emerge as the night's fashion royalty. Prince Nelson captivated in a regal Benin-inspired red traditional attire, while Liquorose stunned in a peacock-themed, light blue off-shoulder mermaid gown. Both winners received ₦1 million each, courtesy of Goldberg.
Actor Stan Nze and Achalugo "Bambam" hosted the evening with elegance and flair, their chemistry and cultural understanding adding an extra dimension to the celebration.
