Tuokpe Onuwaje, the first wife of social media influencer and former presidential aide Reno Omokri, has publicly accused him of neglecting their son who has special needs.
In a Facebook post on Monday, Onuwaje alleged that Omokri has not seen or spent meaningful time with their son since June last year, despite the child requiring extra care and attention.
According to Onuwaje, their son has been left waiting for his father to create bonding moments beyond what she described as "fleeting visits" that Omokri reportedly grants to his other children.
"Parenting should be about being consistently present in a child's life rather than showing up for staged photos on social media," Onuwaje stated in her post.
She further urged Omokri to prioritize "meaningful moments over social media validation" and become a constant figure in his children's lives, particularly for their son who needs specialized attention.
Reno Omokri, who served as an aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has become a prominent social media personality known for his commentary on Nigerian politics and social issues. He has not yet publicly responded to these allegations.
This development comes amid Omokri's continued active presence on social media platforms where he regularly shares his views on national issues and family values.
