Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Big Soso, has opened up about a recent altercation with fellow contestant Faith, claiming she was subjected to age-shaming remarks during their disagreement.
During her diary session on Thursday, Big Soso alleged that Faith made derogatory comments about her age and accused her of inappropriately following male housemates around the Big Brother house.
"Faith age shamed me, he said I was old and that I follow boys around. That is an insult to me because I feel in this house I am one of the ladies that are well respected," Big Soso revealed to Big Brother.
The visibly upset housemate defended her reputation, emphasizing that she maintains a maternal relationship with the male contestants who affectionately refer to her as "Mama Soso" – a nickname she claims emerged naturally due to the respect she commands.
"All the boys see me as a mother because of how I carry myself, they even call me Mama Soso. I never asked to be branded with such a name, but they just respect me and have never been sexual with me," she explained.
What appears particularly hurtful to Big Soso is the apparent contradiction in Faith's behavior. According to her, Faith had previously expressed admiration for her character, making his alleged comments even more surprising.
"Even Faith himself has told me earlier that he respects me and he would like to be one of my sons," she added, highlighting the inconsistency in his attitude toward her.
This incident adds to the growing tensions in the BBNaija house as the competition intensifies. The show, now in its tenth season, continues to capture viewers' attention with its unpredictable interpersonal dynamics and confrontations.
