Big Brother Naija 10/10 housemate, Koyin, has made a surprising confession about his age, admitting that he had been dishonest with viewers since the show's premiere.
In a candid conversation with fellow housemate Gigi Jasmine on Friday, Koyin revealed that he is actually 25 years old, not 21 as he had initially claimed when he entered the house.
"I am 25 years old and not 21 years old. I had to reduce my age because of modelling," Koyin confessed, explaining that his decision was motivated by career considerations in the modeling industry.
Koyin's initial claim had positioned him alongside Joanna as the youngest contestants in the house this season, creating a particular perception among viewers and fellow housemates alike.
Gigi Jasmine, impressed by his honesty, responded positively to the revelation, saying, "You have some high level of emotional intelligence which I appreciate a lot."
This isn't the first instance of age misrepresentation in the current BBNaija season. Another housemate, Ivatar, previously clarified that she is 37 years old, not 40 as she had jokingly claimed during the show's premiere.
