Afrobeats singer Mr Eazi has advised young men that marrying a supportive spouse is a fundamental principle for achieving success in life.

The "Zagadat" crooner shared this insight during an impromptu interview with a Gambian content creator who encountered him and his wife, Temi Otedola, on the streets of London.

When asked about the principles of success, Mr Eazi promptly responded: "Marrying a good wife." He further emphasized that young men should cultivate discipline, patience, and fear of God to achieve success in their endeavors.

Reflecting on the challenges that have shaped his music career, the artist highlighted the impact of skepticism from others. "The difficulty of unbelief when you're being second-guessed, you could turn it into something that drives you as well," he explained.

Mr Eazi also spoke about the distinctive Nigerian spirit that has contributed to his success. "If you're born in Nigeria, most often than not, you have that drive to go get it and you've that self-belief. I don't know how to explain it. You just see it in a Nigerian, even in the way we walk. The audacity. Maybe, it's in the eba and soup," he said with a laugh.

The singer officially confirmed his marriage to Temi Otedola, daughter of Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, in November 2023 through a birthday message to his father-in-law.

Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade, has established himself as one of Africa's most successful music entrepreneurs, founding emPawa Africa, a talent incubator and distribution platform for African artists.
