Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Kuture has finally explained his previous reluctance to take on the Head of House (HOH) position during the first three weeks of the show.

During Sunday's live eviction show, Kuture opened up to host Ebuka about his hesitation, revealing that the leadership role comes with responsibilities he wasn't initially prepared to handle.

"HOH comes with a lot of responsibilities. It is easier to control animals than human beings," Kuture candidly told Ebuka, highlighting the challenges of managing fellow housemates.

The 27-year-old housemate further explained that his observation of how some contestants treat the current HOH, Jason Jae, reinforced his decision to avoid the position until he felt mentally prepared.

"Some housemates don't even respect the HOH, and I am not mentally ready for that yet," he added, suggesting that the lack of respect shown by some housemates toward leadership positions was a significant deterrent.

Kuture's comments offer viewers insight into the behind-the-scenes dynamics and power struggles that often characterize the Big Brother Naija house, where leadership positions can become sources of both privilege and conflict.

This revelation comes as the competition intensifies, with housemates becoming increasingly strategic about their positions and alliances within the house.
