Recently evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Ibifubara, has expressed disappointment over her limited screen time during her stay in the house, claiming that many of her fun moments were not aired to viewers.
In a post-eviction interview with Arise TV, Ibifubara revealed that there was a significant disconnect between her actual experience in the house and what was shown to the audience.
"I brought in a lot of fun, I did what I could, but those parts were not shown to the audience. What I thought was happening inside was not seen outside the house as much," she stated.
The former housemate acknowledged the logistical challenges of capturing content in a house with 29 contestants, explaining, "I mean it is a house of 29 people, with the camera on everyone at different times. So now I'm back and looking through it all and I'm like I did this and that but where exactly are the clips? I wish people had seen more of me."
Ibifubara's eviction came alongside fellow housemate Danboskid in the season's first double elimination, leaving 27 contestants still competing for the grand prize of ₦150 million.
The eviction has sparked discussions among viewers about the challenges of equal representation in reality shows with large casts, where screen time often becomes a precious commodity that can significantly impact contestants' popularity and post-show opportunities.
As the competition continues, remaining housemates will likely become increasingly strategic about creating memorable moments that capture producers' attention and secure valuable airtime.
