Social media activist, VeryDarkMan has accused music executive, Soso Soberekon of disrespect following a proposed N120 million boxing match between him and singer Portable.

BenriNews reports that Soberekon had recently offered N120 million for a boxing duel between Portable and VeryDarkMan amid their ongoing online feud.

Responding to the proposal in an Instagram video shared on Sunday evening, VeryDarkMan expressed his displeasure with the offer, revealing he had previously rejected much larger sums for similar opportunities.

"Alright, so make I quickly respond to Soso Soberekon for this disrespect. What I'm about to say now, you confirm it from Tunde Ednut because my phone is with EFCC," he began.

VeryDarkMan claimed that last year, he was offered a fight with American rapper 50 Cent in what would have been "the biggest event in Africa." According to him, while 50 Cent requested $2 million upfront from a total payment of $5 million, he was offered only $100,000, which he rejected.

"I said if 50 Cent is going to take 5 million dollars then I will collect 1 million dollars," he stated, adding that another offer came earlier this year after his return from China, but the amount was still not "reasonable" according to his standards.

Addressing Soberekon directly, VeryDarkMan said: "It is disrespectful to say you won carry me now go fight for as low as N100 million. Do you know how much I don take do charity this period? What is N100 million?"

He emphasized that N100 million "cannot even buy you a good house in Abuja" and demanded $500,000 upfront before any discussions about a potential fight could begin.

"If you want me to fight, you go bring 500,000 dollar first before I can sit together with you to discuss the balance, but I doubt if you get that kind of money. If dem dey respect you respect yourself Soso. If you don't have that money I talk please don't put my name on your page again," he concluded.

This development comes amid an ongoing social media spat between VeryDarkMan and Portable, which has attracted significant attention from fans and entertainment industry figures alike.

It's worth noting that Portable had previously demanded N1 billion to participate in the proposed boxing match, also rejecting the N100 million offer from Soberekon.
