Arsenal have officially announced the signing of Spain Under-21 defender Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia, while Chelsea have secured a deal for Crystal Palace wonderkid Jesse Derry in the latest Premier League transfer moves.
The Gunners confirmed Mosquera's acquisition through a statement on their website on Thursday, revealing that the 21-year-old defender has signed a long-term contract with the North London club.
Mosquera, who made 90 appearances for Valencia across all competitions, will wear the No. 3 jersey at Arsenal and is set to join manager Mikel Arteta's squad during their ongoing pre-season tour of Asia.

In a separate development, Chelsea have beaten several European heavyweights to secure the signature of Crystal Palace's Jesse Derry. The 18-year-old England Under-19 international was reportedly close to joining Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and had attracted interest from multiple Champions League clubs.
However, according to The Sun UK, the talented youngster has now opted to join the West London club this summer, further strengthening Chelsea's reputation for acquiring promising young talent.
