Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed that starting a family is not in his immediate plans despite being 34 years old.

The Afrobeats star disclosed this during a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra in London, explaining that his ongoing touring commitments make it difficult to settle down.

When asked if starting a family was something he would like to do soon, Burna Boy responded: "Yeah, but I don't want to start that on the road. I'm not planning of quitting tours anytime soon, so I don't know where to now put that [starting a family]; find a middle ground."

The "African Giant" crooner also shared an interesting detail about his lifestyle, revealing that he hasn't taken a proper holiday since the beginning of his music career. According to him, one of the reasons he doesn't go on holidays is because he doesn't have children.

This revelation comes as somewhat of a surprise, considering Burna Boy's previous statements about feeling the need to start having children due to his advancing age. The singer, who has established himself as one of Africa's biggest musical exports, appears to be prioritizing his career over family life for the foreseeable future.

Burna Boy continues to dominate the global music scene with his unique blend of Afrobeats, dancehall, and reggae. His international tours have taken him across multiple continents, further cementing his status as a worldwide musical phenomenon.
