Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has revealed that a threatening letter was delivered to her mother's office shortly before it was gutted by fire, claiming the attack was connected to her recent wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.

According to Priscilla, the letter came from individuals identifying themselves as an "Aggrieved group" who threatened to "render her marriage useless" following her high-profile wedding ceremony.

The threatening letter reportedly read: "You put someone's life in trouble and you are out enjoying giving out your daughter in marriage abi? O ma laya o, you cannot escape in the next three months as we are out monitoring you. Watch out, we shall render your daughter's marriage useless and rubbish it with scatter scatter. That your daughter will not enjoy her marriage. Shebi we are all there on that wedding day. Watch and see – Aggrieved group."

Priscilla disclosed that her mother was fortunate to have been in Tanzania for the wedding when the letter was delivered and only discovered it upon her return to Nigeria. The influencer also mentioned plans to identify the delivery agent and share footage with both the public and law enforcement authorities.

Following the fire incident at her office, Iyabo Ojo expressed gratitude that no lives were lost in the incident. She thanked the Nigerian Fire Service and her staff for their quick response in salvaging what remained of the property.

"The devil tested us today, but God said no. With God on my side, we will bounce back bigger and better," Iyabo stated via her Instagram handle.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of celebrities and their families in Nigeria, particularly when they become targets of threats related to their personal lives and celebrations.

Priscilla's wedding to Juma Jux had previously made headlines across Nigeria and Tanzania, with the ceremony attracting numerous celebrities and dignitaries from both countries.

Authorities have yet to make an official statement regarding the investigation into both the threatening letter and the subsequent fire incident at Iyabo Ojo's office.
