Renowned rapper Nicki Minaj has publicly called out billionaire music executive Jay-Z, claiming he owes her approximately $200 million in what she described as a "karmic debt."

The "Anaconda" hitmaker took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle on Tuesday to address the alleged financial dispute, urging the Roc Nation boss to reach out and settle the matter.

"We've calculated about 100-200MM so far. #JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It's only collecting more interest. You still in my Top 5 tho. Let's get it," Minaj wrote.

According to industry sources, Minaj has been vocal about her claims against Jay-Z, specifically regarding Tidal equity payouts following its 2021 sale. The female rap star reportedly believes she was shortchanged in the deal that involved the music streaming platform.

Despite the serious financial allegations, Minaj appeared to maintain some level of respect for Jay-Z, noting that he remains in her "Top 5" - likely referring to her list of top rappers.

This public callout comes at a time when Minaj's career continues to flourish. She was recently named by Billboard as the greatest female rapper of all time, cementing her legacy in the hip-hop industry.

As of the time of reporting, Jay-Z has not responded to Minaj's allegations. The Roc Nation founder, whose real name is Shawn Carter, is one of music's first billionaires with extensive business interests beyond music.

This dispute highlights the often complex financial relationships in the music industry, particularly regarding streaming platforms and equity arrangements between artists and executives.
