Chelsea winger Noni Madueke has agreed personal terms with Arsenal ahead of a potential summer transfer, according to renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Romano revealed on Saturday that the 23-year-old England international has accepted Mikel Arteta's project, with discussions between the two London clubs expected to commence in the coming days.

"The agreement on personal terms is ready and done, with parties advancing on details this morning," Romano stated. "Madueke said yes to Mikel Arteta's project. Club to club talks will start in the upcoming days."

In what appears to be developing into an interesting transfer dynamic between the London rivals, Chelsea is reportedly monitoring Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri's situation. The talented midfielder is currently in negotiations with Arsenal over a new contract.

"Chelsea have been showing interest in Ethan Nwaneri situation, only in case a new deal won't be sealed with Arsenal," Romano added. "Nwaneri & Arsenal, in talks over new deal while player wants game time guaranteed."

Romano emphasized that these are separate negotiations, clarifying: "Separate deal from Madueke who agreed personal terms with Arsenal."

This potential move comes after recent reports that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino had told Madueke he was free to leave the club amid Arsenal's interest, suggesting the Blues are open to restructuring their squad this summer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal has confirmed the departures of Takehiro Tomiyasu and another player named Ali, indicating the Gunners are also making space for potential new arrivals.
