Kwara United technical adviser, Tunde Sanni, has declared he feels no pressure as his team prepares for their historic first-ever President Federation Cup final against Abakaliki FC on Saturday in Lagos.
The Harmony Boys have reached the final of the prestigious tournament for the first time in the club's history, marking a significant milestone for the Ilorin-based side.
"I am not under any pressure. My team is battle-ready—mentally and physically. The boys are in great shape and know what is at stake," Sanni stated in a pre-match interview.
The coach revealed his personal connection to the competition, adding: "We never won this trophy during my playing days, but now as the coach, I want to do it for Kwara. This is our time."
Team Captain Assures Fans
Kwara United captain, Kabir Mohammed, has also reassured supporters about the team's readiness for the crucial encounter, confirming that the squad is in optimal condition.
"There are no injury worries in camp. Everyone is focused, and we are going into the match with 100% attention and determination to bring the trophy home," he declared.
The final, scheduled for Saturday in Lagos, will see Kwara United face Abakaliki FC, who have also enjoyed an impressive run in the tournament.
Both teams will be aiming to etch their names in the history books by lifting the 2025 President Federation Cup trophy.
