Nigerian hip-hop artist, Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has publicly criticized fellow rapper Blaqbonez for claiming to be Nigeria's best rapper, further intensifying their ongoing feud.
BenriNews reported that the beef between the two artists recently escalated after they engaged in a heated exchange on social media. The conflict originated when Blaqbonez took shots at Odumodublvck in his latest track with A-Q, titled 'Who's Really Rapping'.
In a recent interview with Jusmen 105.7, Odumodublvck expressed his frustration with Blaqbonez's self-proclamation, describing it as disrespectful to Nigerian rap legends.
"Do you know what it is for you to say you are the best rapper in Nigeria?" Odumodublvck questioned. "Stop joking. You are not the best rapper. M.I is the best rapper, Vector is the best rapper. If you were the best rapper, you would have won the best rap album of the Year [at the Headies]. You were not even nominated for best rap single."
Odumodublvck continued by acknowledging several Nigerian rap icons, stating, "I'm not better than Phyno as a rapper. Look at his legacy. [There is] Olamide, Vector, M.I, Modenine, Ghost, Tec... So, for me to come and say I'm the best rapper, that means I've to be the best rapper. But if you're not, stop saying it. It's getting on my nerves, bro. You can get smacked in the face for that kind of sh*t."
He concluded with a direct message to Blaqbonez: "Stop lying to the kids that you are the best. Nobody is even booking you for shows. Nobody is saying that you're a wack artist, you're an amazing artist. But don't come and use your insecurities to close the door."
