A man identified as Mr. Louis Nwachukwu has been found dead in a hotel located in the Mpape area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, following what appears to be a sexual encounter with a woman not believed to be his wife.
The deceased, reportedly an employee of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), had checked into the hotel with a woman identified as Miss Helen Raymond before his unfortunate demise.
Circumstances Surrounding the Death
According to sources, Miss Raymond claimed that Nwachukwu fell asleep after they engaged in sexual intercourse but failed to wake up afterward. The exact cause of death remains unclear as investigations continue.
When contacted by BenriNews, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, was brief in her response, stating only that "we are investigating" the incident.
The body of the deceased has reportedly been deposited in a mortuary pending further investigation and autopsy to determine the actual cause of death.
