Confirming his new role, Daddy Freeze shared the same poster on his personal Instagram page with the caption: "A New Era Has Begun."
Background of Nedu's Departure
This transition comes four months after Nedu stepped down from anchoring the podcast following serious allegations. He was accused of using the platform to sleep with up-and-coming entertainers in exchange for appearances on the show.
The controversy began when Big Brother Naija reality star DeeOne appeared on the podcast and alleged that popular social media critic VeryDarkMan is gay. In response, VeryDarkMan accused Nedu of using the platform to sleep with women and threatened to release names of those Nedu had allegedly told him he had slept with in the industry.
During a press conference after his departure from the platform, Nedu stated that he had no regrets about inviting DeeOne to the podcast, despite the controversy that followed.
