The 25-year-old Italian-Senegalese social media sensation was arrested on June 6, 2025, at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for allegedly overstaying his visa.

According to an official statement from ICE, Lame had entered the United States on April 30 but remained in the country beyond the permitted duration of his stay. The agency confirmed that the TikTok star was granted "a voluntary departure order" after "overstaying the terms of his visa" and has since left the country.
