President Bola Tinubu has concluded his two-week Eid al-Adha celebration in Lagos and returned to Abuja to resume official duties at the Presidential Villa.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, alongside other government officials, accompanied the President to the Murtala Mohammed International Airport for his departure on Monday.

Presidential Engagements During Lagos Stay

During his stay in the nation's commercial capital, President Tinubu reportedly received numerous high-profile visitors at his residence and commissioned several projects across the state.

Notable among his visitors were former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, and Segun Sowunmi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who previously served as spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar's 2023 presidential campaign.

The President's return to Abuja comes amid various national issues requiring executive attention, including ongoing economic reforms and security challenges across the country.

This visit to Lagos represents one of the President's longest stays in the commercial hub since assuming office, highlighting the significance of the Eid al-Adha celebration in his schedule.
