Nigerian international striker Victor Boniface could be on his way out of Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen this summer, as the club is reportedly ready to entertain offers for the 24-year-old forward.

According to reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Leverkusen is willing to listen to proposals that would benefit both parties. "Victor Boniface and Bayer Leverkusen could part ways this summer with a good proposal for both sides," Romano stated on his social media platform.

The Nigerian striker previously saw a potential move to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr collapse during the January transfer window. However, new opportunities have emerged, with several Premier League clubs and Turkish teams reportedly showing interest in securing his services.

Boniface's Leverkusen Journey

Boniface joined Die Werkself from Belgian Pro League outfit Union Saint-Gilloise in 2023 and has since made a significant impact. During the 2024/25 season, he contributed eight goals and provided one assist in 19 appearances for the German club.

Previous reports suggested that Bayer Leverkusen had placed a €50 million price tag on the Nigerian forward, indicating the club's valuation of the player despite their willingness to negotiate a transfer.

Boniface's potential departure comes at a time when several Nigerian players are making headlines in the transfer market, including Victor Osimhen, whose high salary demands reportedly caused Al-Hilal to withdraw from transfer negotiations.

As the summer transfer window progresses, football fans will be watching closely to see which club secures Boniface's signature and whether the striker will continue his career in the Bundesliga or embark on a new challenge elsewhere.
