Tanzanian model Karen Bujulu has broken her silence on the circumstances surrounding her breakup with popular singer Juma Jux, refuting widespread rumors about her alleged infidelity in their relationship.
In a candid Instagram Story posted on Wednesday, Bujulu clarified that contrary to circulating speculations, she was actually the victim of infidelity in the relationship. "I didn't cheat. I was the one who got cheated on. I stayed too long. Forgave till I couldn't anymore... and then I left," she wrote.
Setting the Record Straight
The model explained that her decision to address the breakup publicly stems from false narratives gaining traction online, particularly in light of Juma Jux's recent marriage to Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo.
Bujulu emphasized that she has moved on from that chapter of her life and urged fans to stop involving her in discussions about her past relationship. She stressed that she has healed from the experience and is focused on her future.
New Beginnings
The timing of Bujulu's revelation coincides with increased public interest following Juma Jux's wedding to Priscilla Ojo. The couple's union has garnered significant attention across African entertainment circles, with Priscilla recently sharing details about how she met the Tanzanian music star.
While Bujulu appears determined to distance herself from her past relationship, her statement offers a glimpse into the challenges she faced before deciding to end things with the singer.
Neither Juma Jux nor his new wife Priscilla have publicly responded to Karen's claims as of the time of this report.
