Super Eagles media officer Promise Efoghe has encouraged Napoli striker Victor Osimhen to consider a move to Arsenal, suggesting the Nigerian international could score up to 30 Premier League goals for the Gunners under Mikel Arteta.

Despite strong interest from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, Efoghe believes Arsenal would be the ideal destination for the 26-year-old striker who recently completed an impressive loan spell at Galatasaray.

Speaking on the MatchUp Podcast, Efoghe explained his reasoning: "I want him to go to Arsenal because there is this school of thought that with the way he plays and the way Arsenal plays, he can score up to 30 goals in the Premier League. Osimhen is strong aerially. He is deadly with his feet as well. He is a complete player."

Impressive Season at Galatasaray

Osimhen enjoyed a stellar 2024/25 campaign with Turkish champions Galatasaray, where he was on loan from Napoli. The Nigerian striker netted an impressive 37 goals across all competitions, helping the club secure both the Turkish Süper Lig title and the Turkish Cup.

His exceptional form has attracted attention from several clubs, with Al Hilal reportedly keen to strengthen their attack ahead of the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup later this month.

Transfer Speculation Intensifies

The transfer saga surrounding Osimhen continues to develop, with Galatasaray vice-president Yelkencioğlu previously suggesting that financial considerations would likely influence the striker's next move.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are reportedly in the market for a prolific striker to bolster their Premier League title ambitions for the upcoming season. The addition of a forward with Osimhen's aerial prowess and finishing ability could provide the Gunners with the cutting edge they need to challenge for major honors.

As the summer transfer window progresses, football fans across Nigeria will be watching closely to see where their national team star decides to continue his career.
