Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has urged the Red Devils to sign both Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres during the summer transfer window while retaining young striker Rasmus Hojlund.

Osimhen and Gyokeres have attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Manchester United, following their impressive performances for their respective clubs.

Speaking on The Overlap Fan Debate, Scholes expressed confidence that a deal for Osimhen could be feasible despite financial constraints at the club.

"I think [Victor] Osimhen, it sounds like a doable one," Scholes said. "When you talk about financial problems, Osimhen could be doable. But I would keep [Rasmus] Hojlund."

The United legend defended Hojlund's challenging first season at Old Trafford, suggesting the 22-year-old Danish forward deserves more time and support.

"I know he is not been great, but he's a 22-year-old kid playing on his own for Manchester United the last two years," Scholes explained.

Strengthening United's Attack

Scholes emphasized that Manchester United should bolster their attacking options significantly, advocating for a three-pronged strike force.

"Manchester United should have at least three top centre forwards. I would have him and Osimhen. Him, Osimhen and Gyokeres," he added.

The comments come shortly after Manchester United reportedly secured the signing of Mathues Cunha from Wolves, indicating the club's intent to revamp their attacking options ahead of the new season.

Nigerian international Osimhen has been linked with several Premier League clubs, while Swedish striker Gyokeres has impressed with his goal-scoring prowess, making both players attractive prospects for the Manchester club looking to return to the top of English football.
