Speaking to the media on Monday ahead of the Spain vs France match, Rabiot was unequivocal in his support for his compatriot. "For me, Dembélé deserves the Ballon d'Or," the former Juventus midfielder stated, highlighting Dembélé's instrumental role in PSG's Champions League triumph and other silverware this season.

Luis Enrique, who guided PSG to multiple trophies this season, echoed this sentiment. "I would give the Ballon d'Or to Ousmane Dembélé... He deserves the Ballon d'Or, without a doubt," the Spanish tactician told beIN Sports, praising the forward's exceptional performances throughout the campaign.

Dembélé's impressive 2024-25 season saw him claim a remarkable trophy haul, including the Ligue 1 title, UEFA Champions League, and Coupe de France. His individual accolades were equally notable, as he was named Champions League Player of the Season.

The 22-year-old's statistics further strengthen his case. In Ligue 1, Dembélé netted 21 goals and provided six assists. His Champions League campaign was equally prolific with eight goals and six assists. He also scored three goals in three Coupe de France starts and netted the decisive goal in the Trophée des Champions.

Despite Dembélé's strong credentials, he faces stiff competition from other standout performers including Mohamed Salah, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal. All three rivals enjoyed exceptional seasons, helping their respective clubs secure league titles.
