Nollywood actress Ruby Ojiakor has sparked diverse reactions on social media after transforming her bridal shower into what she described as a spiritual worship session, ahead of her wedding to filmmaker Moc Madu.
The actress, who announced her engagement earlier this year, is set to tie the knot on Saturday, May 31, 2025. However, it was her unconventional approach to her bridal shower that caught public attention after she shared videos of the event on her Instagram page.
According to Ojiakor, the bridal shower was "charged by the Holy Spirit" and featured supernatural manifestations. In her social media post, she claimed to have witnessed "God and His host of angels" during the celebration, stating that attendees received "supernatural breakthroughs and blessings."
"To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life eternal. My bridal shower wasn't business as usual. The whole atmosphere was fully charged by the Holy Spirit," she wrote, describing the event as a "bridal shower as never seen before."
