American rapper Offset has escalated his divorce battle with estranged wife Cardi B by requesting spousal support, according to recent court filings.

The hip-hop artist filed an updated response to their ongoing divorce proceedings, now demanding financial support from Cardi B as part of their settlement arrangement.

Cardi B initially filed for divorce in August 2024, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for ending their seven-year marriage. The couple, who wed in a secret ceremony in 2017, share three children together.

According to TMZ reports, while Offset has not specified the exact amount he's seeking, he has requested the court to ensure legal fees between the two parties are handled fairly.

This latest development marks a shift from Offset's previous response filed in February 2025, where he sought joint custody of their children and requested that Cardi B's home serve as the children's primary residence.

The divorce proceedings between the two prominent hip-hop artists have drawn significant public attention since Cardi B first filed papers last year. Their relationship has experienced previous challenges, with the couple briefly separating in the past before reconciling.

Neither Offset nor Cardi B has made public statements addressing this latest development in their divorce case. The court has yet to rule on Offset's request for spousal support.
