The first half was dominated by Nigeria, with Ghana failing to register a single shot on target. The Black Stars' frustration was evident as two of their players, Kamaradini Mamudu and Salis Abdul Samed, received yellow cards in quick succession in the 24th and 26th minutes for reckless challenges.
Ghana managed to pull one back in the 70th minute through substitute Brandon Asante-Thomas, but it wasn't enough to prevent Nigeria from advancing to the final.

Following this victory, the Super Eagles will face Jamaica in the Unity Cup final scheduled for Saturday. Jamaica earned their spot in the final after defeating Trinidad and Tobago 3-2 on Tuesday.
