Kano Pillars Football Club has announced a four-week break for players and officials following the conclusion of the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The announcement was made on Thursday by the club's chairman, Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar, who expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their contributions to the team's campaign.

"On behalf of the board, I wish to sincerely thank our players, technical crew, supporters, media team and all stakeholders who contributed to the successful conclusion of the 2024/2025 season," Umar stated.

"Your dedication, sacrifice and support have been the backbone of our progress," he added.

The chairman revealed that despite the break, preparations for the upcoming season are already underway. The management will continue working behind the scenes to strengthen the squad, evaluate performances, and plan strategic improvements ahead of the new campaign.

Umar also extended appreciation to the club's supporters across Nigeria and beyond, acknowledging their unwavering belief and passionate support as continuing inspiration for the team to strive for excellence.

Kano Pillars concluded their 2024-25 NPFL campaign in ninth position on the league table, accumulating 53 points from 38 matches.

The break will give players and officials time to rest and recuperate before preparations begin for the 2025-26 season, where the club will be looking to improve on their mid-table finish.
