Former House of Representatives member, Hon. Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo, has commended Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, for successfully repositioning the state during his first two years in office.

Ottah, who represented Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency in the 9th National Assembly and chaired the House Committee on Narcotics and Drugs, praised Governor Alia's commitment to transparency, development, and improving the welfare of ordinary citizens.

In his congratulatory message marking the governor's second anniversary in office, Ottah noted that Alia has restored confidence in governance and brought significant positive changes to Benue State.

"I heartily congratulate His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, the Executive Governor of Benue State, on the occasion of his second year in office," Ottah stated.

"Your Excellency, the past two years have marked a significant phase in the life of our dear state. Your commitment to repositioning Benue, restoring hope to the common man, and entrenching a culture of accountability and service delivery are commendable," he added.

The former lawmaker called on political leaders and stakeholders across Benue to rally behind Governor Alia to advance the state's development agenda and foster unity among the elite.

Ottah concluded his message with prayers for divine guidance for the governor, saying, "I pray for God's continued wisdom, strength, and protection as you steer the affairs of the state toward greater development."
