Popular Nigerian social media comedian and content creator, Adesokan Emmanuel, widely known as Shank Comics, has revealed the unusual circumstances that led to his father's conversion from Islam to Christianity.

"I'm a Christian. Although I have a Muslim name, Saheed. My dad was a Muslim, but there was a time he was very hungry, and a church gave him food—then he converted to Christianity," Shank explained in the video.

The comedian added with characteristic humor, "My dad is so cheap. We were just hungry."
