Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, hosted Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, along with his wife Natasha and other Benue artistes at an induction dinner held at the New Banquet Hall, Government House, Makurdi.

The governor confirmed the event through a post on his official Facebook page on Sunday night, describing it as an "Induction Dinner and Official Unveiling of a New Phase of Leadership, Creativity, and Community Impact" and "a convergence of talent, passion, and purpose."

The highlight of the event was the official presentation of the '1 Voice Benue Manifesto,' which Governor Alia described as "a call to action for unity, innovation, and social impact."

"What made the event more remarkable was the powerful gathering of Benue's finest in showbiz, a vibrant display of the creative energy that flows through our people," the governor stated. "From music to film to comedy, fashion to performance, Benue's creative industry showed that it is ready to lead and inspire."

The event brought together various talents from the state's creative sectors, showcasing the potential of Benue's entertainment industry. Governor Alia expressed pride in standing with the youth and creatives of the state, emphasizing that "this is only the beginning."

It is worth noting that 2Face Idibia was recently appointed by Governor Alia as Technical Adviser for Entertainment and Community Outreach, a move that underscores the administration's commitment to developing the creative industry in Benue State.

The dinner appears to be part of a broader initiative to harness the creative talents in Benue State and position the entertainment sector as a driver of economic growth and social development.
