Manchester United have set a reduced asking price of £60 million for Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho, who has attracted interest from several clubs including Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to The Telegraph, the Red Devils are now willing to part ways with the 22-year-old following what has been described as a turbulent season at Old Trafford. This asking price represents a £10 million reduction from the previously reported £70 million valuation published by The Guardian in February.

Garnacho's future at United appears increasingly uncertain after he publicly criticized manager Ruben Amorim following the club's 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Europa League final on Wednesday. Despite starting all previous knockout matches, the winger was relegated to a substitute role in the final, coming on for just 20 minutes.

"I played 20 minutes," Garnacho reportedly stated after the match, expressing his frustration with Amorim's decision to keep him on the bench for most of the game.

The Argentina international has been a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing season for Manchester United, contributing 11 goals and 10 assists across all competitions. Despite his impressive output, the club appears ready to cash in on the talented youngster who was promoted from United's youth academy to the senior team in 2022.

Chelsea and Napoli had previously shown interest in signing Garnacho during the January transfer window, though neither club managed to secure a deal at that time. With his recent outburst and United's apparent willingness to sell, the winger's three-year stint at Old Trafford could be drawing to a close.

The Europa League final defeat to Tottenham ensured Manchester United will end the season without silverware, potentially accelerating the club's plans for a squad overhaul this summer under Amorim's direction.
