Nigerian international goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has reaffirmed his commitment to Serie A club Udinese amid growing transfer speculation linking him to Italian giants AC Milan and Premier League outfit Bournemouth.
The 25-year-old shot-stopper, who has been in impressive form this season, addressed rumors about his future in a recent interview with Udinese's official website.
"I am one of you, I am a black and white player, and I am happy to be here," Okoye declared. "It is difficult to think about the future because I am only focused on Udinese, the club and the fans have entered my heart."
Okoye has been a standout performer for the Zebras this campaign, making 24 appearances and keeping four clean sheets under manager Kosta Runjaic. His consistent performances have attracted attention from several top clubs, including seven-time European champions AC Milan, who reportedly showed interest in the Nigerian goalkeeper last summer.
The Super Eagles goalkeeper joined Udinese two years ago from Championship side Watford and has since established himself as a key figure in the Italian club's setup.
Despite the growing interest in his services, Okoye's latest comments suggest he remains committed to Udinese for the foreseeable future, providing a significant boost to the Serie A side as they look to build on their current campaign.
